As the owner and artist behind Tattoo Kiss, I believe your tattoo experience should be just as personal as the art itself. My private, one-on-one tattoo studio in Portland, Oregon, is a space where you can relax, feel heard, and understand exactly what you’re investing in before we begin.
I charge by the hour for actual tattooing time only, so there’s no pressure to rush and no charge for breaks, design discussions, or other non-tattooing time. My goal is to give you the time and attention you need to feel comfortable and confident in your tattoo.
You’ll receive your design at least one day before your appointment, although you’re welcome to request it sooner. At the beginning of your session, we’ll also have time to review your design and make adjustments together, no matter how long it takes, until you’re happy with it. Your design should feel right to you, and I want you to feel comfortable speaking up about any changes you’d like.
I book sessions in 4-hour blocks, with your deposit applied toward the cost of your tattoo. If your tattoo needs more time, we’ll schedule additional sessions as needed to complete it.
What You Need to Know
My rate is $200 per hour, with a $100 minimum. I work fast, so you’re getting a lot of work done in that time! My hourly rate might look high at first glance, but the total cost is often much more reasonable than people expect.
Tattooing time is rounded to the nearest half hour.

- Half off your first touch-up after your tattoo has healed
A More Comfortable Pace
At Tattoo Kiss, I want you to focus on your tattoo, not the clock. Because I charge only for actual tattooing time, you can take breaks when you need them without worrying about the cost adding up.
This approach also gives us room to refine details, discuss adjustments, and help first-time or anxious clients settle in comfortably. You don’t need to push through discomfort or feel embarrassed about needing a moment. Your experience matters just as much as the finished artwork.

Custom Tattoos
Every custom tattoo starts with your ideas, interests, and personal style. I’ll work with you to create something that feels like you while considering placement, detail, and how the design will work with your skin.

Flash Tattoos
Flash designs are pre-drawn tattoos with individual pricing. They’re a great option if you love a design that’s already been created.
All flash tattoos are pre-priced at 15% off.
Touch-Ups
Your first touch-up is half off to help your tattoo look its best after healing. Additional touch-ups are $100 flat.
Consultations
I offer free, optional consultations over Zoom for up to 30 minutes. They’re a chance to talk through your ideas, ask questions, and get a feel for whether we’re a good fit before booking.
Consultations aren’t required, but you’re welcome to reach out to schedule one.
Questions You Might Have
Do you design the tattoos yourself?
Yes! Your custom design is included in the price of your tattoo. I encourage you to bring all your ideas, inspiration photos, rough sketches (no matter how rough!), and tattoo references. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
I’d recommend sharing your own ideas and references rather than relying on an AI-generated design. I can help turn your vision into artwork that suits your style, placement, and skin. I’ll also offer recommendations to help your tattoo heal well and age beautifully.
Do you charge for breaks?
No. Breaks are part of the process, and you can take them whenever you need to. I charge only for actual tattooing time, so breaks and other non-tattooing time aren’t added to your bill.
Can I change my design after booking?
Absolutely! I welcome feedback and want you to feel confident about your design. You can request changes before your appointment, and we’ll also have time at the beginning of your session to review the design and make adjustments together.
How long will my tattoo take?
Every tattoo is different. Size, detail, placement, and your skin’s needs can all affect how long the tattoo takes. I book sessions in 4-hour blocks and will give you an estimate based on your design. If we need more time, we can schedule another session.
